For the 99.9% of you who don’t know, Thayne Carper graduated from Concord University in the fall of 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing.
He went from being dropped from his college’s entrepreneurial scholarship program and was labeled a “disappointment” to receiving 2009 Outstanding Business Student of the Year.
He’s best known for being a finalist in the 2007-2008 West Virginia Student Business Plan Competition. His idea was to make world class cost reduction and business turnaround programs available and affordable to the small business.

He compiled research on best practices as well as the “How To” behind them and developed two business home study courses based on a “Results not Theories” approach on how a business could successfully drive down costs while boosting productivity.
Thayne lost to www.BetonWeightLoss.com (who never did start their business even though they won the ten grand in prize money). The judges ultimately questioned Thayne’s expert ability as well as the overall viability of his business plan.
Thayne continued his research picking up a new topic of interest. Business turnarounds. Disappointed from the lack of topics and college courses taught on the subject, he set out to learn as much as he could out of the classroom. It’s been a never ending process.
Thayne strongly believes that any business can drastically improve performance and profitability by putting people fist, using creative brainstorming, and ignoring traditional wisdom.
His passion and enthusiasm are the driving factor to his work and success as well as making things simple and easy to understand (he never was good at things like physics or chemistry; add dating to this list too).
Thayne studied Web 2.0 and internet marketing and threw up an amateur website (the one you are on) for $100 and bought a $20 book on website marketing titled Content Rich from Books-A-Million.
Lacking money for website advertising and promotion, he followed the advice in the book and started writing high quality articles and submitted them to the largest internet article marketing website Ezine Articles.
Within a week, he earned Platinum Expert status making him one of the youngest writers to reach platinum status on Ezine.
By writing informative, content rich articles as his only means of advertising and promoting his website, his website started to get links and hits from around the world and his articles began to outrank those of experts two and three times his age.
In the next couple months, Thayne will release his first training course written in plain English on how any business regardless of size or industry can easily lower expenses by using the same blueprint and techniques some of the highest paid consultants and CEOs use to cut costs at a fraction of the price.
