Ready, Fire, Aim

So you’re looking for a turnaround strategy but don’t know where to start? Well try this. Today, do something bold. Not next month and definitely not next week. Do it today now.

What do I mean by bold? Well it can be anything as long as it puts you moving toward a positive benefit or closer to your business goals and objectives.

Have an idea to obtain new customers by writing a press release? Or maybe you have 5 fresh cost reduction ideas that you believe can free up some cash as soon as the end of the month, maybe sooner.

Regardless of the idea, just get started on it today now.

Once you’ve came up with an idea, spend no more than 24 hours writing up the plan.

Don’t worry about the details or get caught up on whether you should be using either a pen or a pencil. You can worry about the small things when they come up the main idea is to get momentum going and get it going fast.

Chances are you know everything you need to know to start implementing.

Have you ever wondered why it sometimes takes larger corporations years to come up with ideas and then finally act on them? I can almost guarantee that if they had an emergency and needed to make and act on an important decision it would take no more than six months (and that’s being generous) to get it done.

In fact, I’ve seen it happen.

Start out with something small, maybe one good idea you came up with after reading my free report How to Double Your Profits in Six Months or Less and create the rough draft version of your plan the same day.

Regardless of the idea, start toward implementing it today (don’t you think I’ve made this pretty clear by now?, I’m probably starting to sound like your mother).

Don’t wait for a meeting with your management team, don’t wait 30 minutes after you’ve ate, and don’t spend weeks planning, just do it today. Do it now.

This will create a sense of urgency others will pick up on. People talk.

Keep this up long enough and it will create a culture of change. Change starts at the top but doesn’t end there. Hustle the hustlers.

Another point to remember is while you’re putting things off or looking for excuses; your competition isn’t nor do they plan to. Some of them have already laced up their Nikes and took off and boy can they run.
nothing fancy, you just need to do it today.
And if they’ve read this same article, chances are they are well on their way to turning things around and might not even need 24 hours.

Ok now that you have an idea, get started on it. You can catch up.

I would give you a good hard smack on your rear to get you going but that would get me sent to one of those awkward Human Resource meetings.
